Department Of Commerce
The Department of Commerce was established in 1981 with a Pre-degree Programme( Commerce IV group) to cater the academic aspirations of the people in the locality.With the gradual delinking of Pre-Degree programmes , BBS programme was started under this department in the year 1999 to develop the managerial and administrative skills of students. In 2004, this course was renamed as BBA( by Kannur University) and in 2009; Choice Based Credit and System was implemented. In 2014, B.Com with cooperation programme was started.Now the department offers two graduate programmes- BBA and B.Com. The courses help the students to examine the fundamental principles of commerce and business environment and learn how to apply business principles to business practices .
