Course Description

This course covers statistical methods including data classification, sources of data, sampling techniques, measures of central tendency and dispersion, moments, skewness, and kurtosis, providing a comprehensive understanding of data analysis and interpretation.

  3. Geometric Mean, Harmonic Mean and weighted averages
  4. Partition values - Quartiles, Deciles, Percentiles
3 Measures of Dispersion 12
  1. Definition and properties of various measures of dispersion - Range, Quartile Deviation, Mean Deviation, Standard Deviation
  2. Properties and relative measures of dispersion (Coefficient of range, Coefficient of quartile deviation, Coefficient of variation, Coefficient of mean deviation)
